You (probably) can't buy VR at CVS with a cc, although there have been one or two reports of it working when buying a prescription (which, if true, would mean those terminals were running a different code base).

However, you CAN still buy OneVanilla or Visa Gift Cards at many CVS with a CC, which is what a lot of us are doing.
