For your wife to earn the milesboosts, she needs her own separate account, not just an additional card tied to yours.

That said, if you're not concerned about spending another $60k and would do so already, $450 ain't bad for 30k MQM. LAXRuss is correct on any signup bonuses or RDMs from her card going to her SM account, not yours. She can only gift the MilesBoost MQMs.
