As for MF Vs WW there are many opinions out there on all crew, good and bad, so you can't tarnish everyone with the same brush...i'm not a huge LH flyer but the 380 LAX-LHR with MF was awful (crew I had serving me in J were rude, disinterested and would rather the pax weren't there), and I have flow SAN-LHR with MF and they were excellent! Same goes with WW and EF.
I am in Paris now.
Indeed, BA did a great job to substitute two planes at the last minute (773 for A380 and 773 for 772).
I got on the second flight BA28 from HKG, so the crew who took over from HK must have been designed for the usual 772. Service in F with all seats occupied was quite slow, but fine. Food and wines outstanding.

I was not on BA26 which moved from A380 to 777, so I could not ask whether they brought A380-qualified pilots from London or whether the regular crew waiting in HKG was qualified for 777. I would assume the later.

Again, very satisfied with BA. I was stressed for 24h before departure, but as my wife said: "relax, BA always takes good care of us"
