Do they test the liquid to make certain it's not explosive? Do you get a pat down the way a parent who brings exempt liquids for a child does?
A bit different that medically necessary liquid in the form of a drink...but I have brought over 3oz of liquid medication through TSA and been taken aside to allow them to somehow test the contents by passing a swab over the open container and testing it. They had me hold and open it (it wasn't sealed as I'd been using the meds). The guy was rather apologetic about it but the process was pretty quick. The swab didn't touch anything - just passed across the air above the open container. Weird.
