Is it generally safe to MS up to $1000/month after you are cleared through a FR? I was FR'd for reasons not associated with MS, and was not given any limits. I'm currently trying to spend $3,000 so I can get the 100,000MR points on my platinum signup bonus.

I've been buying GCs at my grocery store and have purchased around $1000 so far. Has AMEX ever FR'd someone immediately after clearing them?
