what happens if your bag is below the 56x45x25 limit but there is no room in the overhead because you board too late? Does that mean you get hit with the standard "hold" fee (hold is the same as checking a bag, correct?) or do they just put your bag in the belly for no charge and you just need to pick it up after the flight in baggage claim?
