I am in a similar situation to the OP. I also use the Chase Club, but the partner airline issue has had me looking around. Alaska Airlines is one that I am trying as I like Cathay Pacific, BA, Emirates, Quantas...it is only a 1x1 spend but it is BofA they allowed a high credit limit right away and it is a Visa.
SPG would be perfect, but too many problems with AMEX.
Chase Club was the best before the devaluation.
