I don't think this really needs a new thread or anything, but I also don't think it's been discussed anywhere here. Noticed this maybe a week ago for the first time and just noticed again, at the bottom of Hertz.com:
"Hertz Rents Chrysler Group Vehicles and Other Fine Cars."
Back in the day the rental companies were owned by car makers for a while, Hertz was by Ford as many of you remember. But I don't think there's any common ownership at play here today right? I suspect it's purely a paid promotional consideration of some sort.
Of course, just like I didn't usually get Ford products even when Hertz was still owned by Ford, I don't usually get Chrysler products now.
