There's really not much reason to arrive early for a train, it's the farthest thing from a plane imaginable! I guess dealing with parking might be an issue, but if you don't have to, there's nothing you have to do when you get to the station. I will imagine you will have printed your ticket at home, so 35 minutes early is probably excessive.
