Flying 25k miles per year (once you hit the status that gives you)
Alaska - 37.5k miles, actual upgrades, priority checkin and a lot of flexibility
United - ~31,250 miles, unlikely upgrades and if you get an E+ seat its going to be middle

Flying 40k miles per year (once you hit the status that gives you)
Alaska - 80k miles, actual upgrades(and a lot of them), a free drink on each flight, priority checkin and a lot of flexibility
United - ~50,250 miles, unlikely upgrades and if you get an E+ seat its going to be middle
This is really useful information, and confirms everyone else comments to stay with AS. The only downside I see is that most of my flights are to ORD and all of them are on AA metal, so no upgrades there... but everything else is much better on AS. Thanks!
