Every airline & every airline alliance has it's pluses/pros and minuses/cons.

Most Business travelers will travel on the airline:
a. their company books them, as the companies have agreements in place with certain airlines.
b. That offers thee shortest route ... preferably direct/non-stop flights.
c. That offer the most convenience .... options like what you are looking for .. non-stop to India.

Every time there is a change ... if positive .... then more will fly an airline .. if negative ... less will fly that airline.

We (whether HVC or LVC) all have or preferences and reasons for flying a particular airline & alliance.

Some are HVCs for sometime, them become LVCs for some periods of time, then revert again to being HVCs!

There are different strategies for different happenings & changes that happen.

I stay with the airline & alliance that suits my personal & family needs.
