I absolutely earn way more points than me and the SO could possibly use. I save more than enough to cover the load fees from our fill ups alone and let family and friends use points. Earns goodwill with them and hell, if you ever need a new SSN to open some AP accounts after shutdowns/want some more BBs/Serves, etc. you don't feel as bad asking.
Ah. so it's to build good will. But why not just TELL folks how to do it themselves? This is one deal I do feel comfortable just telling friends/family about, because it's basically idiot-proof -- especially if they already shop at these stores. I'd only keep it a secret if I wanted to sell them the gas.
