if you look at Seat2A's flight memory (link at bottom of his post) you will see that he has logged THOUSANDS of flights over ... well, let's just say "many" ... years
the fact that he can point out twenty-some aircraft of those thousands that later met with a career-ending accident is really no more than an example of applied statistics
