Lines are very long for ANA if the Mexican flight lands first. Tell the nice NH FA you have a connecting flight if you are in a hurry so they will reseat you near the door just prior to landing. That will help. No GE. I've wasted over 30 minutes at SJC to clear passport control. I wasted similar amounts of time elsewhere too, but this is not an advantage of SJC.
