No two posters have asserted they would be entitled to F lounge access based on *G status. That is NEVER the rule.
mduell's question goes to whether this was even a *G lounge. A lounge can be *A without being *G. Such as the SKL in SIN, which is a *A lounge, but not a *G lounge. SKL access is thus limited to business class passengers. Mere *G's are relegated to the KF Gold lounge.
