Ran into this the other day, as UA*G, but flying and crediting to SQ. You don't get the lounge pass unless you're crediting to your *G airline.

That said, after about 15 seconds of discussion on how to put it into the computer, they had no problem letting me into the business class lounge with my electronic 1k card from the united app (as UA never seemed to get around to sending my physical card).

As someone else said, it is really nice compared to the old one overlooking the terminal.
