In PVG, when you check in, you should be given a lounge pass and you use that to gain access to the lounge. If you don't have it, they will have to make "exception" for you.
In PEK, no lounge pass is given or required. Just use BP or card.

There is no such rule. *G access is business lounge access. Likewise, business class seat will get you business lounge access. To access the F lounge, you must be departing in F.
a few years ago, pm, I could get in CA's F lounge with 1K card. Not sure about the rule now.
