Just curious as to the benefits of these prepaid 3V Visa cards. Don't you get like 2 or 3 Avios per £ spent when using AMEX (directly) for booking on BA.COM?

Also, why lose the protection under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act when using prepaid cards or brokers like PayPal?

What's not covered by Section 75?

-Goods/services bought through intermediaries
If you buy through a travel agent, pre-paid cards, PayPal, group-buying sites, etc

-Using the credit card indirectly
