In terms of whether your seats are confirmed or waitlisted, it displays your booking status in MMB. If you're waitlisted, then it might be possible that your J seats will be confirmed at the airport.

thanks very much. MMB shows confirmed not waitlisted (that changed a few weeks ago) - I was just confused by the WT bit. From what you have said, I should ignore that and just go ahead and (attempt to) OLCI when it opens and all things being equal, it should give allow me the select seats in CW.
