I loved this property. I was upgraded to a huge 2 bedroom suite with a balcony overlooking the pool, living room, kitchenette, and two full bedrooms. It was pretty amazing. Great location, right in the middle of Noosa which is a super cute beach / resort town. Steps from the beach. Close to terrific hiking -- we did the 8K trail from Noosa to Sunshine beach and I highly recommend it -- track varies from sidewalks to dirt to unmarked beach tracks, but we did it in tennis shoes and were fine.

We were in Noosa for 2 nights and in Gold Coast for 2 nights (flew into Brisbane and rented a car, which you probably need to get from Gold Coast to Noosa) and I thought that was the perfect amount of time. If you have to choose between the two, I would pick Noosa -- I was sick of Gold Coast after 2 days (it feels a bit like a former gem that is past its prime) and the Sheraton Gold Coast was okay but a bit in need of an update.

Tip: there is free street parking literally across the street from the Sheraton.
