For people who want the Centurion card and can't get it, have you thought of getting yourself added as an AU on someone else's Centurion card? @:-)

A few years ago, I had to pay a >$5k bill to the dealership. So I asked the cashier girls if a charge my size was unusual. The 1st girl said "the elderly gentleman before you who just left had a larger charge." The 2nd girl then kind of corrected her and said "no they aren't that common. About once a week."

$250k on a cc for a Ferrari is going to be a problem, but $10k for a down payment? The dealership will take that, it's just the cost of doing business.

Every other dealer has charged the 3% = but I still got a price less than MLP.

You do need to call AmEx (even with the cent card) to let them know.

ps Obama changed the rules for charging extra for c cards.

But, I have the Cent and am thinking of dropping as perks not as good as before
Back in 2007, when Citi was running the 5% cash back on everything for your first 90 days special, I know there were people who bought new cars and put it on their Citibank 5% card.
