Since then I've received the email verifying card closure and my card is shown as closed on the website. Should I follow up by phone or sm before 37 days if the $450 is not received by then?
You should have no need to follow up on the AF refund. I've cancelled 5 cards (wife & mine) and AF credited has always posted within 48 hours.
However, should it become necessary to contact Citi I would do it via SM; as this thread is full of posts regarding CSR that really don't have a clue on what's going on. SM has always worked for me.
