We did the following:
We departed LHR on CX250 and arrived in HKG a little after 1pm.
Ms. 747-444 and I went to the arrivals lounge for a shower, some food and then put our luggage in the lockers at HKG.
When we got to the golf course they told Ms. 747-444 her 'Sneakers' and tight jeans weren't acceptable golf attire.
After battling at the pro shop she decided to give up and go sit in the club house with a newspaper and lunch. The clothes on offer were all rather small, Ms 747-444 is 5.8 and is a US size 6 and the clothes all didn't fit correctly.
After getting golf shoes, buying 12 balls and pegs I headed to the first hole. I am tall myself (6.4) and my golf clubs I have are an extra inch on the shaft, jokes aside; I found the ones they lent me to be more accustomed to a kid. The person playing with me had regular mens clubs and mine were still shorter.
I started to play and we were perpetually held up by the people in front, awful golfers, coupled with the humidity and tiny clubs I looked at the score card and noticed the 4th hole heads back to the club house.
I decided to call it quits on the 4th hole. I found other female caddies were far less appropriately dressed than Ms747-444, coupled with the minute clubs and the people in front was enough for me; yes I know that sounds precious.
I returned the club house, collected Ms. 747-444 and returned to the airport where we cleared customs and headed for the First Class lounge.
A safe trip back to Melbourne in J and now I am trying to fall asleep in order to do some work tomorrow.
