Question UK Train Seat Reservations - can I change them after booking?
Is it possible to change a seat reservation prior to travel?

I bought a ticket online today for Liverpool to London (Virgin Trains) but once I found out what seat I've been assigned I've discovered it's not the location I requested (table seat for the power ports). Whilst a fresh dummy booking does indicate such table seats are still available, I've already got a non-refundable ticket.

Do I have to wait until I'm onboard or can I resolve this in advance - FWIW I've not collected the ticket from the ticket machine yet.
