If nothing else it was another set of hands to help out, token PR gesture or not. I have criticized him in the past and believe he is due credit for pitching in. Maybe some direct contact with employees and customers will help the whole restructuring process.

The union leadership on the other hand seems hell bent of sabotaging the company to the determent of the employees.
