Hey stromer52, do you have to be at Dusseldorf main station at 1513 (which would involve transferring twice) or at Dusseldorf airport station (which can be reached easily by SkyTrain)? It can take up to an hour from touch-down until you get your bag but the SkyTrain runs every few minutes for only a few minutes, so you could reach the airport station easily. If you need to go to Dusseldorf main station it could be a bit tight. But as gkl stated, a regular/normal train ticket allows you to take any train on that day within the price-range that you selected.
