Or the reverse or should I keep them separately. The reason why I fly AC is that I have to fly a domestic sector in AC to connect to the International flights. I take about 4 to 5 International long haul flights per year from Canada and fly either QR from YUL or AC to Europe and then connect to either UL or QR.

You cannot, in practical terms, transfer miles between FFP's. Have a look at the questions in post 1. What are your objectives with a FFP? If you live in North America AA may be best for you. Be very careful about miles expiry.
