The hotel scene is becoming more and more interesting in Taipei.

It is a pity that IHG cannot find any partner to invest in the city, which now has a Mandarin Oriental, a Regent, an Okura Prestige, a W, a Grand Hyatt hotel, and some interesting boutiques hotels (Les Suites, Quote, etc.).

An InterContinental downtown would be more than welcome, or at least Crowne Plaza / Indigo.
