I have a flight booked in W from IAD-LHR one-way next month. I have never flown with VS before and was hoping to upgrade to UC. It looks like 10,000 miles and I thought that I could just transfer my Amex points. Unfortunately, when I go to the Amex site VS isn't there so I guess that Canadian Plat cards don't have this option. If I'm wrong then I'd love to hear it! To buy miles (or have them gifted) I apparently have to earn some with a partner first. There are some good promos now for buying and transferring, but I need to earn some first!

There is no G space available on my travel date (though there is the days before and after!) but I was hoping to get the miles ready and then keep checking.

Any ideas?
