But I wouldn't categorize them as the most remote on earth. To me, that would include those circling Antarctica such as Bouvet, Kerguelin, McDonald, South Georgia, et al.

Even Rodrigues Island is way out there, but at least I've been to that one!
South Georgia to Midway? Can't you just drive to ATL and fly Delta to MDW from there?
