A google search leads to the HIX Taichung webpage on the HI website.

I have only stayed at the HIX Taoyuan, which was pretty good, and the HI East Taipei, which is about a 15 minute bus ride from Taipei City Hall and the hotel food is not good but the rooms very nice (was upgraded and had Lounge access), with a 7-11 next door and another down the street (lots of 7-11's in Taipei, like almost every other block has one).

Too bad the CP left, was thinking of staying there on my next visit.
