The way I see it, this whole episode could be nothing more than a trial balloon for AC. Have a staffer traveling incognito pee into a bag, report it to the press, then gauge public reaction. If it's not too bad, proceed with crafty plan to remove all washrooms from the entire 777 fleet and stuff in yet more high density seats for even greater operational efficiency.
