anyways, compensation is due. for at least the price of the plane ticket (and if you have your inbound... the compensation is FOR the inconvenience, not a refund). they made a J flight more stressful than a Y flight. IMHO anyways, YMMV and some may think you eventually arrived so it's ok
Believe me i kept on calling him and even said to turn his mobile on while in HKG. But at his age, he's a bit absent minded and stubborn (sorry but this is out of frustration for saying this). Mobile was off, apparently battery died and charger was in checked luggage.
Had to pull out his reservation online to even know where exactly he was....
