At least with T1 to D46 you don't have to go thru TSA. Thirty minute waits to clear for non-PreCheck, non-Priority passengers aren't unheard of.

And you have to be at your gate 15 minutes before departure so that gets it down to 55 minutes for traveling.

The whole loop around the terminals is about 1.5 miles. The shuttle runs on the lower level (which is more congested) and stops at each terminal.

I don't know how they calculate MCT -- I would guess something like "XX% of the time a typical passenger can connect in 70 minutes." Is the XX 80%? 90%? 95%?

Delta to Delta you probably could cut that in half (max would be from the end of T6, thru the tunnel and to the end of T5)

It could be worse: at DTW if you are changing airlines they say 2 hours.
