Also, when did you do the buy-up? The ones at check-in are almost always stay at the discounted fare basis, which is 100%.
The Buy up was done 7 months before the flight, and the flight is EWR-HNL, with no instant upgrades from M or B. The flight is in December, and I need the 50% to requalify for 1k, so I want to be sure.
