Personally, i would NOT take the taxi at that time - and especially on a Friday. I have been stuck in traffic with a taxi (from 30th Street Station) at least twice and it can turn into a heart pounding situation. In all my times using the Train, I have never experienced it being late more than maybe 5 minutes. 30th Street Station is BIG and you will need to thread your way from the incoming lower level Amtrak train platforms to the upper level Regional Rail system to catch the Airport train. Just ask for directions.
