After all the recent hotel program devaluations, I am wondering what sort of "sweet spots" exist for point bookings with many of the chains. By sweet spot, I mean a location where you get a great overall value. Do any of you have any recommendations for sweet spots that are out there? I know this is a pretty broad question... The one example I can think of: I feel like 25,000 points for the IC Cancun is a pretty great deal. Rates there can fluctuate a lot, so if you are looking at high-season, the 25k points can be a huge savings. Anything else that you can think of?
