rokinon 8mm on micro four thirds

Hi,

I recently purchased a new $200 Rokinon 8mm F3.5 lens for my Panasonic DMC-G5KK. It's really a vanity purchase, something fun to play with. And it's the first non-native lens I've purchased. It arrives in a week.

I'm hoping someone can help me understand how to adjust this lens when taking a picture. A search turns up this thread on dpreview, but the most I've gleaned from that is "It is best stopped down to about f/8 to maximize sharpness."

I'd appreciate some advice from anyone that's used this (or any non-native lens) on an M4/3 system.
