Did the KIX - PVG flight 8-10 times a year for four years on primarily MU. Flights originating from KIX in the afternoon were late half the time because the incoming flight from PVG was late. Late was anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours late. Our worst case, we missed our connection in PVG and ended up staying in a pretty bad 'free' hotel.
However flights originating in KIX in the morning, it was never late from my recollection.
