Sounds like it is your own fault. You need to figure out what her real name is, legally change it, get a new passport, then everything will match.

Gosh, that sounds like a headache. Would be much simpler for people to just keep their own names when married.
NO. SHE (not the OP who is her husband) needs to decide what legal name she will use.

I'm in favor of the wife keeping her own (maiden) name. It's easier. Why go through the hassle of changing names on everything? Also, then does one then change the names back during a divorce?
