As pointed out by others, the outbound should be absolutely fine - its the return that might have some issues while checking in with BA (if you're unlucky to get a not so great agent!).

I'd just give myself a bit of time-buffer to work things out @ BA Checkin (even though their policy is to through check to oneworld partners..).
