I've heard from colleagues - but cannot say for sure - that they are being more and more anal about lounge access but hey, if they do not grant you access, then what really are the benefits of Petroleum Club. Like Gajan said - if it is a KLM ticket, you should be fine. If not, you can always try - the worst they can say is no!
