Ah, a quick search reveals the published policy on the website, which clearly makes no guarantee or promise of a hotel for IRROPS that are outside AC's control (weather), but does for IRROPS that are within AC's control (mechanical). Again, I think the message here for travellers who are concerned about this is to buy travel insurance.
