Totally agree - entertaining with little substance. Revenue managers in 4/5 star properties in bkk are mostly foreigners or with extensive international experience - the pricing decision to keep public rates at where they are is a smart choice in my book - there are other ways to discount and drive demand.
Step 1: price 4/5 star BKK properties so that you lose money on the sales, but make money on volume
Step 2: ??????
Step 3: Profit!
