Well when you hand it to them, that is when they find out.

If you do it via the electronic route, they will receive a letter from their manager informing them in the same way we hear about a well done.

We don't receive anything other than a pat on the back from our Manager but some people who have received a lot of Golden Tickets have been invited to a Golden Ticket event and have met some customers but in the scheme of it, that's a very small number of staff.

As far as I know they are planning a system where staff who receive a lot of well dones and Golden Tickets are rewarded with being invited to events or to go on special trips.

The idea is that receiving them is just supposed to make you feel good in it's own right, rather than a reward system.
