Going once, going twice...

I just logged into Optiontown to see if the price had changed. I've read elsewhere that it may go up closer to departure. It went up from $80 to $82 on the outbound, so not much. I hope that means there is little demand. I think I'm just going to chance getting a Platinum upgrade even though $82 is a great price for an upgrade on a flight of this duration (IAD-MEX). I have an exit row seat and I'll get a little bit of chow and hopefully booze in economy if I don't get the upgrade. Will report back.

Same price for the return: $80. If I don't get upgraded going down, maybe I'll spring for it on the way back.
