Where are you mainly travelling, and on what airlines?

Be aware that there is a difference between cabin luggage sizing in the USA and Europe. In general terms, the 22" in Europe includes wheels and handles etc, whereas in the US it may not. You may then get stuck if you have to put it through the sizer.

I bought a very nice 22" TravelPro suiter before I found this out
It won't fit any European sizer, and looks considerably bigger than any of my other 22" stuff (eg Rimowa or Samsonite etc).
