These would appear to meet my criteria. To repeat:

21” or 22” carry on (roll aboard, aka rollerboard)
Two recessed wheels, no spinners
Good quality, good value for money (needn’t be Tumi although it might be)
Conservative colors – black, silver (aluminum) or gray (no Sub-0-Ultra polka dots or Zuca Hello Kitty!!)
Soft side, hard side or polycarbonate
No backpack conversions to carry on (Osprey, et al)

For simplicity sake, I am not listing the supplier, although in most cases it is ebags, as suggested by Letitride2c.

In a few cases it is Amazon (USA) in a few it is the manufacturer, and in others it is Luggage.com. I was unable to find any bags that fit my criteria on the Costco website. Hopefully, this will change.
