I am a newbie to FT, so please be kind. I am headed to Vietnam for a quick trip. I was thinking about getting a mifi so I can use a few devices on wifi network. I have the following questions that I was wondering if someone can help me with:

1) Buy an unlocked mifi (huawei) or use my Samsung Note as a mobile hotspot?

2) if I use the mifi, do I buy a data only sim? How much is the data only plan and with what provider? I plan to use the mifi in the evening to check email, surf the web, and skype calling.

3) if I use my Samsung as a mobile hotspot, I am planning on getting the talk and data plan. Any recommendations for the plan I should get?

4) if I get the "Sim Khuyen Xuyen", how long can I keep the number for? If not, do I buy a monthly plan if I want to keep the number for other future trips?

5) can I roam outside of Vietnam with these plans?
