Labour Day long week-end ideas X YYZ?

I am trying to book a long week-end away over Labour Day from YYZ. (I know, I know... it's a little late). Maybe LAX or SFO. Thinking about going out Aug 27/28 and returning Sept 1/2.

Any idea on how I may get flights? Other destination ideas?
